The Diploma in Events Management programme entails teaching both the knowledge and skills required for becoming effective professional in the events industry.

From the business sector to the music industry, from politics to sports and from celebrations to cultural festivals, everyone is holding events.

 

Professional Work Placement

Apply to any company under the Berjaya Group of Companies and you will be given preference over other candidates

Professional Work Placement
As an integral part of the programme, you will undergo 20 weeks of comprehensive professional work placement. It has been specially designed to give you an intensive hands-on learning experience within a challenging work environment.

Your professional competence, personal development and ability to engage in critical thinking will be enhanced through specialized events subjects such as event planning, event creation and production, and associated with a combination of business subjects such as marketing, legal issues, managing people and accounting that will allow you to have a profound understanding and mastery of the Events industry.

Entry Requirements:
• SPM / O-Levels / UEC or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) credits.
• Applicants with other qualifications are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Intakes:
• January, April & August

Duration:
• 2 years and 20 weeks of professional work placement.
