The Diploma in Hospitality Management programme covers all the major theoretical and practical components of hospitality operations. This comprehensive skills-driven programme enables you to acquire the business acumen and mandatory skills needed to successfully manage a hospitality operation profitably, while adhering to world-class standards. Besides hospitality subjects, this programme will enable you to have further in-depth understanding of the hospitality industry.

 

Professional Work Placement

Apply to any company under the Berjaya Group of Companies and you will be given preference over other candidates

Professional Work Placement
As an integral part of the programme, you will undergo 20 weeks of comprehensive professional work placement. It has been specially designed to give you an intensive hands-on learning experience within a challenging work environment.

You will be prepared for extensive career opportunities across industry sectors such as hotels, resorts, clubs, restaurants, cruise lines, contract catering, retail outlets, fast food restaurants and many more. You will gain hands-on real world experience through the operations of our on-campus food and beverage outlets which are open to the public. This creates a realistic commercial environment for learning.

Entry Requirements:
• SPM / O-Levels / UEC or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) credits.
• Applicants with other qualifications are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Intakes:
• January, April & August

Duration:
• 2 years and 20 weeks of professional work placement.
