The Diploma in Retail Management is the right programme for aspirants who wish to pursue a career in the retail industry at supervisory levels or those who wish to own or manage a retail business. The two and a half years programme will introduce you to the various aspects of professional retailing consisting of activities such as food, fashion, consumer goods, financial services and leisure, comprising some of the largest companies globally.

 

Professional Work Placement

Apply to any company under the Berjaya Group of Companies and you will be given preference over other candidates

Professional Work Placement
As an integral part of the programme, you will undergo 20 weeks of comprehensive professional work placement. It has been specially designed to give you an intensive hands-on learning experience within a challenging work environment.

The subject matter draws on the business disciplines of Marketing, Consumer Behaviour, Business Strategy and the retail specialisation of E-Commerce, Security and Loss Prevention, Operations and Supply Chain Management. This will enable you to have a profound understanding and mastery of the retail industry that will prepare you for extensive career opportunities across the industry’s sectors.

Entry Requirements:
• SPM / O-Levels / UEC or equivalent with a minimum of three (3) credits.
• Applicants with other qualifications are considered on a case-by-case basis.

Intakes:
• January, April & August

Duration:
• 2 years and 20 weeks of professional work placement.
