The Integrated English Programme (IEP) consists of 4 different progressive levels and has been designed for both Malaysian and international students to communicate appropriately at all levels.
The modules systematically address the four dimensions of language, which include listening, speaking, reading and writing.

THE FRAMEWORK OF EACH MODULE INCLUDES:
Grammar Structure And Use Of Language Activities
• The activities allow students to practice grammar and communication in tandem.
• The modules are formulated in a unique eclectic and communicative classroom teaching environment.
• The primary aim of the programme is for students to communicate meaningfully in English, while recognising the undeniable interdependence of grammar and communication.

Skills Development Session (SDS)
• SDS is given to all IEP classes to develop the core language skills. Language And Media Lab Activities
• Students will be required to attend this prerequisite pronunciation skills development session while taking their IEP programmes. This pronunciation programme teaches 52 basic sounds of English to ESL learners from beginner to advanced levels. Students will listen to the sounds made by the instructor and then record their own voice to compare with the instructor’s. The variety of minimal pair discrimination exercises for all 52 phonemes presented provides plenty of instruction, practice, and reinforcement for students looking to improve their listening comprehension and pronunciation.
English Assessment
• The English language centre has prepared assessment instruments to ascertain the students’ level of English proficiency so as to place them in the appropriate levels. |
