Pure Immersion Learning at the launch of MIGF 2016!

The annual gastronomical Malaysian launch and tasting affair for TasteMIGF just concluded last weekend at our premises on Level 14. The event experience was sprawled across the entire floor with the Theatre of Cuisines featuring 26 of Malaysia’s top restaurants, the Epicure Gourmet Village, Lifestyle Plus Lounge and two days packed with amazing cooking classes and appreciation workshops by some of the culinary community’s best and brightest stars.

The workshops and classes were mostly held in BERJAYA UCH’s excellent facilities, and featured our own School of Culinary’s faculty staff.

“A trio of chefs from BERJAYA UCH take their place on the bill – Chef Azim Bin Amran, a specialist in Malaysian cuisine; Chef Choong Siew Lee, one of only three chefs in Malaysia to be certified by the World Association of Chefs Societies as a National Global Master Chef; and Chef Jochen Kern, Director of the School of Culinary Arts at BERJAYA UCH, who carries a lifetime of experience under his belt after having managed the kitchens of many of the world’s finest hotels.” – extracted from www.tastemigf.com
