{"id":9278,"date":"2019-09-09T13:59:16","date_gmt":"2019-09-09T05:59:16","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.berjaya.edu.my\/university\/?p=9278"},"modified":"2019-12-09T14:09:11","modified_gmt":"2019-12-09T06:09:11","slug":"byec-berjaya-young-entrepreneur-competition-july-september-2019","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.berjaya.edu.my\/university\/byec-berjaya-young-entrepreneur-competition-july-september-2019\/","title":{"rendered":"BYEC (Berjaya Young Entrepreneur Competition):  July &#8211; September 2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The BERJAYA Young Entrepreneurs Competition is an inter-school competition endorsed by the Ministry of Education, Malaysia designed to provide students aged 16 and 17 years old studying in Secondary 4 or 5 in all public\/private schools or Year10 &amp; 11 of international schools from Kuala Lumpur, Selangor, Putrajaya and Negeri Sembilan with the opportunity to nurture the ideas and values of entrepreneurship.<\/p>\n<p>This competition also aims to develop personal entrepreneurial competencies amongst students through a series of free training workshops by professionals in four categories introduced in this competition:\u00a0 Culinary Arts Competition, Business Pitch Competition, Social Media Marketing Competition and Travel Vlog Competition.<\/p>\n<p>Several workshops were held as a lead up to the finals held last 14 September 2019. Finalists were also required to post to social media some of their artistic works which includes:\u00a0 photography, vlogs and public service announcements.
