The event also saw SASG Grant Projects presentation by Chef Choong Siew Lee, Justin Ho Li Vern, Nur Khairunnisak Athira, Ng Boon Aun and Thong Lai Kit as well as sharing of Conference papers by Assoc. Prof. Dr Cheok Mui Yee, Haryati Husin, Alicia Loo Yin Hui and Asso. cooking workshop and a dinner event on Nov. 11, 2019. Chef Cuellar who is one of the most recognised chefs of Colombia supports innovative culinary techniques with Avant garde trends featuring Colombian roots and indigenous flavours. In a cooking workshop attended by BERJAYA UC and BTVET students, Chef Cuellar extolls foraging and usage of wild products and flavours. In an intimate dinner hosted by Ra\u00fal S\u00e1nchez Ni\u00f1o, Deputy Head of Mission for the Embassy of Colombia, Chef Alejandro featured favourites such as tartar de coctel de camarones, pescado moqueado en pure de tapioca fresca y tucupi, arroz con coco y posta negra and pannacota de majule y pi\u00f1as. \u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<hr \/>\n<div id=\"enews-4\">\n<p dinner at Samplings on the Fourteenth on 19 November 2019 to raise awareness for Movember.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-size: 14px;\">Working with Chefs Valmurugan Subramanian (Berjaya Times Square Hotel), Fabio Ruggero (Sapore Restaurant), Juwahir Mustafa (Pietro Italian Restaurant) and Rachel Koh (Maison Caf\u00e9), the ten hands dinner was complemented with wines paired by Alexander Biasutti (WLFI Ltd.) and wine producer Franco Cavallero finished with cheeses by master fromager Sergio Calzolari. The highlight of the evening was an auction of white truffles from Alba, the picturesque town in the north-western Piedmont region of Italy &#8211; known as the \u201cWhite Truffle Capital of the World\u201d and listed as one of UNESCO\u2019s World Heritage site. Movember is a worldwide event held every November whereby men are grow moustaches.
